Recently Shri. Bhaiyaaji Joshi, Sarkaryvaha, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) interacted with Nagpur based doctors in Thengdi Sabhagruha, RSS Headquarters in presence of Dr.Rajesh Loya, Nagpur Mahanagar Sanghachalak- RSS and Dr.Dilip Gupta. RSS had invited a select gathering of doctors from all over Nagpur who are running clinics and either run or are attached to hospitals for this exclusive interaction. After briefing the doctors about the social commitments of RSS, Shri.Bhaiyyaji Joshi presented various issues so as to get sensitized about the views of medical fraternity and to jointly contemplate on solutions. He asked doctors to always think whether their act will help nation and society before undertaking any venture and sought more social commitments from them especially in rural sector. Vidarbha Hospitals Association and Indian Medical Association representatives along with various doctors attached to government medical colleges also participated in the discussion. Flow of ideas as to ways and means to consider a long term vision of having robust health mechanism including government and private health sectors complementary to each other in interest of public was contemplated. Prominently present on the occasion were Dr.Anup Marar, Dr.Sameer Paltewar, Dr.Pinak Dande, Dr.Raju Deshmukh, Dr.Lokendra Singh, Dr.Deepak Deshmukh, Dr. Shailesh Pitale, Dr.Sudhir Chafle, Shri. Ravi Mannadiyar, Dr. Niranjan Dharaskar, Dr.Nirmal Jaiswal, Dr.Girish Charade, Dr.Shivaji Deshmukh, Dr.Ashok Adhao, Dr.Sanjay Deshpande, Dr.Avinash Wase, Dr.Y.S.Deshande, Dr. Chandak , Dr.Manish Shrigiriwar, Dr.Kolhe etc who actively contributed in this interactive meeting. Dr. Vikas Mahatme, MP and Dr.Anil Ladhad, MMC elected member along with Dr.Umesh Shingne of BJP Health cell also partook in the discussion. VHA office bearers submitted that no rules should be enforced on retrospective basis and there should be a uniform single window checklist system all over state. VHA also submitted that no commercial or advance taxes should be imposed on private health care service providers apart from having a realistic review of the tariff, terms and conditions of various government funded insurance schemes. VHA also requested for strict implementation of Maharashtra Medicare service, persons and Medicare Institutions act 2010 act on those who vandalize hospital property and assault health care personnel serving in government and private health care sector. Credit hours and TPA regulations were also raised by VHA. VHA welcomed this RSS initiative of having an all-encompassing integrated society building thought process. |
