OCHRI HEALTH TALK KICK STARTS WOMEN’S DAY ACTIVITIES

Office bearers of Women’s Associations felicitated

Nagpur based Orange City Hospital & Research Institute; owned by Ravi Nair Hospitals Private Limited is always at the  forefront of extending health care services to the local communities in and around its area as a part of its community development initiatives. In continuation to series of various social community initiatives to commemorate its completion of 25 years of public service & International Women’s Day, OCHRI is organizing a weeklong health camp for all incoming females. Bilateral Mammography screening, PAP smear testing, Gynecological examination by Dr. Bindu Menon- Senior Gynecologist and Consultation of Dr. Devyani Buche- Senior Physician is being provided to all incoming ladies at very nominal charges only per person.

The OCHRI Women’s Day weeklong events commenced with health talk on 8th March 2022 in Jaivik Hall by Dr. Vina Bang- Physician who spoke on Physical problems in Covid & their management while Ms. Pooja Thakkar- Psychologist spoke on Psychological problems during Covid & their management. The attendees appreciated the relevant topics which was lucidly explained by the speakers. Dr. Vina Bang underlined that Covid has taught mankind to seriously embark on life style modifications which play primary role in good health while Medicines come secondary. Ms. Pooja Thakkar elaborated on the
growing social anxiety & depressions that has gained epidemic proportions during Covid times which can only be managed by a qualified Psychologist with scientific sensitization methodologies.

Office bearers of Inner Wheel Club, Rotary Club of Nagpur Green City, Yuwa Bhoyar Pawar Manch, Vasavi Women’s Club & Renuka Mahila Jyeshta Nagrik Mandal namely Supriya Joshi, Anjali Dewase, Manisha Chaudhary, Vaishali Chandel, Yogita Wath, Prachi Padmawar, Sujata Pampatwar, Sheela Kullarwar and Pramila Thakur were felicitated by Dr. Vidya Nair- RNHPL Vice-Chairperson, Dr. Usha Nair- RNHPL Managing Director, Dr. Vina Bang and Ms. Pooja Thakkar. On behalf of all  associations and attendees, Rn Manisha Chaudhary complimented OCHRI for fostering a workplace where women thrive
and for regularly undertaking novel ventures to benefit females.

At the outset, Dr. Vidya Nair welcomed the ladies and proudly emphasized the women empowerment nurtured at OCHRI. Sr. Jessy Abraham-conducted the proceedings while Manjiri Damle proposed vote of thanks.
