Recently a team of OCHRI doctors conducted a preventive health Check-up camp at School of Scholars, Pratap nagar, Nagpur. This general health check-up camp was carried out to facilitate early detection of deficiencies and general health of children. After medical checkup a descriptive report for individual student was provided. The parents of needy children were counseled to take further detailed check-up by specialists. The School authorities and teachers were impressed by the professionalism of the doctors and appreciated and thanked them for their valuable service to the students.
Team of doctors screened 230 students and addressed various important medical issues like general health & hygiene etc. Team of OCHRI doctors comprising of Dr. Jaya Shiwalkar- Pediatrician & School Psychologist, Dr. PC Gupta- Consultant ENT Surgeon, Dr. Abhay Agashe- Eye Specialist, Dr. Sayali Kotambkar & Dr. Tushar Nair- Dentists, Dr. Deepak Dongre- Family Physician, Ms. Mansi Andhare- Dietician screened the students. Br. Virendra and Sr. Rajani Wanjari assisted the doctors in this camp.
On this occasion Dr. Anup Marar– OCHRI Director & Pediatrician said, “Healthy mind lives in healthy body. As a Corporate Social Responsibility, OCHRI regularly organizes School Health check-up camps under the name and style of “Aglee Peedhi”. Such regular school health examinations help to build a sound foundation for student’s future.”
